Released on August 11th 1997. Tetrisphere was a new take on the classic theme of Tetris. While inspired by Tetris, the game plays very differently. One interesting tidbit discovered about Tetrisphere involved it originally being developed for the Atari Jaguar in 1995. In fact, it was being shown at the CES in 1995 in the Atari booth. Supposedly, Nintendo secured the rights for the game from there, and announced that it would be released in October 1996, which severely hurt H2O Entertainment. The game would not be released until the following year.
