20th Anniversary: MDK by Shiny Entertainment

Released on April 30th 1997, MDK is 3rd person run and gun shooter. It was very ambitious at the time requiring pretty powerful PC’s with a Pentium 60MHZ CPU, 16MB RAM, a dedicated SVGA graphics card, and a sound blaster card.

Interesting facts about MDK
-”MDK” originally means Murder Death Kill, however, due to possibly making toys off this game Shiny removed the acronym and stayed with just MDK.
-To keep people guessing, there are lots of other 3 word acronyms to fit MDK that can be found in the advertising, player’s manual, in game, and in sequels, such as “Mother’s Day Kisses”.
