-According to How Long to Beat’s website the average play through takes about 7 hours to complete.
-According to GameRankings.com, SoulCalibur currently holds an overall rank of #13, and #1 for the Dreamcast.
-According to VGChartz, over 340,000 units were sold in Japan alone for the Dreamcast.
-Currently, about 1 game is sold per week.
-It was only ported to the Dreamcast, along with improved graphics and modes.
-SoulCalibur brings a lot of influence to the game industry, being regarded as one of the best fighting games of all time. It also brought many improvements to the fighting genre such as the 8 directional movement mechanic and the use of weapons.
-The home console port to Dreamcast sold better than it’s arcade counterpart, an unusual switch from the norm.
-Second best-selling game on the Dreamcast.
-Received two awards in 1999 and 2000 for “Best Fighting Game,” and “Game of the Year.”
-There is a lot of ambiguity of how the name should be capitalized, or if it is one or two words. We like SoulCalibur as one word and intercapped. What do you like?
